The gap
An aging crisis without enough support to meet it
By 2030, nearly one in four Canadians will be over the age of 65. In British Columbia, that shift is already underway. More older adults are living longer, often with complex and overlapping needs — and the gap between what families need and what the public system can provide is growing every year.

The cost of getting it wrong is real: unnecessary hospitalizations, missed funding, care that doesn’t fit, and families pushed past their limit. That is exactly the situation Living Care Collective was built to change.
Our #1 goal
Not the easy route.

We don’t look for the fastest fix or the most convenient placement. We build a long-term plan for each client — one that accounts for where they are today and where they want to be in five years. That means reducing risk before it becomes crisis, keeping people mobile, connected, and well, and doing everything possible to keep them in the place they call home.
Risk mitigation
We identify fall hazards, medication risks, care gaps, and isolation before they become emergencies — not after.
Keeping parents moving
Mobility is independence. We coordinate physio, exercise programs, and home adaptations that keep people active on their own terms.
Staying connected
Isolation is a health risk. We build social connection into every care plan — community programs, technology, and regular check-ins that matter.
A plan that lasts
Every recommendation we make is part of a bigger picture. We build long-term care roadmaps, not one-off fixes that leave families back at square one in six months.

We start from what the person wants for themselves — not what’s easiest to arrange. Our goal is always the most independent, dignified option available.
Honest guidance, always
We don’t take referral fees or commissions from any provider. Our advice is ours — not shaped by who’s paying us to say it.
Whole-family thinking
Aging doesn’t happen to one person. We hold space for the whole family system — adult children, spouses, siblings — and help everyone move forward together.
Home as the starting point
We believe home is where people thrive. We work backward from that — finding every resource, adaptation, and support that makes staying home possible for longer.
